Valoración espermática de semen bovino criopreservado con tres curvas de temperatura en la hacienda La Victoria del cantón Bucay.

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo, valorar la calidad espermática de semen bovino criopreservado con tres curvas de temperatura en la Hacienda La Victoria del cantón Bucay, se aplicó un diseño completamente al azar con tres tratamientos correspondientes a las curvas de congelación y 5 repeticiones por cada tratamiento, se obtuvo un total de 15 pajuelas evaluadas, para el trabajo de campo se realizó la colecta de semen con ayuda de un electroeyaculador, para medir variables precongelación espermática como son: edad y peso del toro, volumen, color, olor y pH del eyaculado y las morfoanomalías y medir las variables postcongelación que son: motilidad masal, motilidad individual progresiva, concentración espermática, viabilidad espermática y la integridad de la cromatina del espermatozoides. Para las variables como volumen de eyaculado y pH del eyaculado se utilizó la estadística descriptiva (media y desviación estándar). Para el resto de las variables se realizó un análisis de la varianza de ADEVA separación de medias a través de la prueba de Tukey con un nivel de significancia de p<0.01. Los resultados obtenidos determinaron que la viabilidad espermática, como la motilidad individual progresiva se obtienen al utilizar una curva de temperatura en el agua de criopreservación de 3,8°C, mientras que la mayor motilidad masal y a menor cantidad de espermatozoides con morfoanomalías se obtuvo al aplicar una temperatura más elevada de 4.2°C. En cuanto al costo de la tecnología aplicada se observó que la inversión total del experimento fue de 147,63 USD. Se concluye que la evaluación de la calidad del semen bovino permite identificar y eliminar aquellos animales que puedan presentar problemas de infertilidad y seleccionar los mejores bovinos para los programas reproductivos, por lo tanto, se recomiendo realizar futuras investigaciones, sobre criopreservación.The present research aimed to evaluate the sperm quality of cryopreserved bovine semen with three temperature curves in La Victoria Farm of Bucay Canton. A completely random design was applied with three treatments corresponding to the freezing curves and 5 repetitions for each treatment. obtaining a total of 15 straws evaluated. For the field work, semen collection was carried out with the help of an electroejaculator, to measure sperm pre-freezing variables such as: age and weight of the bull, volume, color, odor and pH of the ejaculate and morphoanomalities and measure the post freezing variables that are: masal motility, progressive individual motility, sperm concentration, sperm viability and the integrity of the sperm chromatin. For variables such as ejaculate volume and ejaculate pH, descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) were used. For the rest of the variables, an analysis of the variance of ADEVA Separation of means was performed through the Tukey test with a significance level of p<0.01. The results obtained determined that sperm viability, such as progressive individual motility are obtained by using a temperature curve in cryopreservation water of 3.8°C while the higher masal motility and the lowest number of spermatozoa with morphoanomalities are obtained by applying a higher temperature of 4.2°C. As for the economic analysis, it was observed that the total cost of the experiment was 147.63 USD. It is concluded that the evaluation of the quality of bovine semen allows to identify and eliminate those animals that may present infertility problems and to select the best cattle for reproductive programs.
